Keyless shaft bushings provide easy and accurate positioning of mounted components for today’s machinery and help reduce wear on mating shaft components.
PSL-D Series keyless shaft bushings offer relatively low contact pressure at the hub, allowing smaller OD hub pulleys or sprockets to be used. Our PSL-D keyless locking devices also feature a unique design which allows it to be offered for smaller diameter shafts. This model is flangeless and can be recessed within the hub to save space. We offer PSL-D keyless shaft bushings in several options accommodating shafts from 6mm to 50mm in diameter and providing transmittable torque up to nearly 1,300 ft-lb.

PSL-D Keyless Shaft Bushing Features
Our PSL-D Series keyless shaft bushings provide a solid connection between the shaft and mounted component. They feature a mechanical locking wedge that forms as the actuation screws are tightened, pressing the inner sleeve against the shaft and outer sleeve against the hub. The resulting locking connection transmits torque and resists axial forces. Additional product features include:- Simple locking design eliminates the need for keyways
- Socket head cap screws tighten quickly and easily for fast mounting and repositioning
- Excellent concentricity with minimal radial and axial runout
- Contact pressure at the hub is relatively low, allowing smaller OD hub to be used, reducing both the moment of inertia and weight
